Granite City Harbor Extension

This construction project will extend the General Cargo Dock at the Granite City Harbor, including demolition of a defunct rail trestle, construction of a new sheetpile wall, and backfill and compaction of the area behind the sheetpile wall to create a firm working service. This project was awarded a grant by the U.S. Department of Transportation Maritime Administration, and Port staff is currently working to finalize the grant agreement.
