Interconnect Track Feasibility Study

America’s Central Port is conducting a study to determine the feasibility of constructing new railroad tracks within the Port property, which would create a direct rail connection between the Granite City Harbor, located north of Locks #27, and Madison Harbor, located south of the Locks. The Interconnect Track Feasibility Study is funded through a grant from the USDOT Maritime Administration and includes stakeholder and public engagement to gather input about potential improvements.
