Christie Voelker, AICP

Christie Voelker is the Deputy Director, Planning and Development at America’s Central Port. In this role, she oversees Planning, Engineering and Construction, Strategic Marketing, and Commercial Sales functions to ensure a cohesive and proactive approach to development of the Port’s 1,200-acre property. Christie also manages the Port’s pursuit of outside funding by researching grant and loan opportunities, positioning priority projects for funding, and overseeing funding applications and compliance.
 

Christie joined the Port as the Planner while earning her Master’s in Urban Planning and Development from St. Louis University. Her education in Urban Planning complements the experience gained through work in real estate development, local government, and private-sector consulting.
