Illinois Fresh Food Fund Information Session scheduled for Nov. 15

An information session, co-sponsored by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Opportunity and IFF, is planned to introduce a financing program for full-service grocers operating in underserved markets across Illinois. The Illinois Fresh Food Fund offers affordable and flexible financing for capital projects. It is designed to help grocers operating with low-margins in urban and rural areas where infrastructure costs and credit needs are not met solely by conventional financial institutions. WHO: 
This session is ideal for grocers, food co-ops, developers, and other interested stakeholders looking to develop, expand, or update a full-service grocery store.

WHAT:
Information session will include: eligibility guidelines,  application process and requirements, features of the Illinois Fresh Food Fund that help grocers save money up front and over the long term, opportunity for motivated grocery developers to sign up for follow-up one-on-one meetings with IFF, supplementary information on other state and local resources that may help your project.
